You’ve only scratched the surface

This idea came to me in the form of a memory - a gold scratch map of the world my best friend gave me at nineteen. Much like the beloved scratchie, the idea of the map was to travel the world and scratch the gold foil off each country as you travel.

I had a lot of fun using delicate gold leaf to create the off-screen element, which will remain scattered throughout my house forevermore.
