THROUGH STRANGER LANDS
I wanted the layout design to capture the peculiarity and mystery of the Trans Siberian Railway and the characters that can be found aboard. The train passes over almost 9300 kilometres, its passengers suspended in the time it takes to journey across the vast and volatile landscape of a furtive nation.
For the cover I chose an image that reinforces the rebellious tone of the publication and evades convention in itself; a faceless figure turned away from the reader and shrouded in mystery.
